The magic of landscape photos lies in the ability to transport your mind to anyplace in the world. My name is Kevin Boldenow and I am the owner of KRB Photo Imagery. My business, based in Stuart, Florida, offers a variety of stunning landscape photography. I also provide a number of commercial photography services including family portraits, modeling portfolios, and business photos.
My business is different from other photography companies because I cater my photos and services to individuals, museums, interior designers, art collectors, and more. I continue to use film for my black & white work, rather than a digital camera. My landscapes are surreal yet accurate images that highlight the natural beauty of the environment.
A Lifelong Passion
Ever since I picked up my parents' Brownie camera, I have been passionate about photography. Since then, I have built a career as a professional photographer specializing in 35mm, medium format, and digital landscapes with figurative imagery. In addition to living in Michigan, I have lived in 5 states, including Texas, New Jersey, and Virginia, before moving to Florida in 1996.
Inspired by the density and drama of the landscape, I began to specialize primarily in black & white, as well as black & white infrared film, as a way to capture the myriad textures and details found in the overwhelmingly verdant landscape. Although color will always be a part of my portfolio, I believe that black & white dramatically reveals the combination of light, heat, and shadows found in the already mystical landscape. I seek to instill the sense of awe and serenity we feel when we truly experience the beauty of nature. So often, we allow little distractions to upset our balance. Nature helps to retain that balance.
As a natural extension of my love of nature, I have progressed into creating fine art nudes, blending the beauty of the female form within the landscape. My photography continues to expand and evolve to incorporate new themes and styles
Fine Art Landscapes
Choose from a myriad of fine art landscapes of largely uninhabited areas of Florida, otherwise known as "old" Florida. I also offer landscapes of New Mexico and Arizona. These are predominantly done in black and white, but I also offer color options for you. My regular film pictures come in 16"x24" and 24"x16" sizes. I also provide digital formats in 30"x20" and medium formats in 30"x36". Custom sizes are available to meet your individual needs. All of my images are unframed and look great in any home or office area.
I have been exhibiting in several galleries across Florida, and received the 2004 South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship Grant for Visual and Media Artists. The Consortium award is one of the most prestigious awards given to artists in the United States, having been judged by both local and national art experts.
